Heemelrijck Amsterdam (part of 15 Hospitality B.V.) attaches great value to the protection of your personal data. In this statement we explain what data we collect, why we collect it and how we handle it.

2. What data do we collect?
We collect the following personal data:
- Reservation data (via OpenTable): name, email address, phone number, date, time and number of guests. This is processed by OpenTable (Booking Holdings) under their own privacy policy.
- Contact forms: name, email address and any other information you provide in a group or catering enquiry.
- Analytics data: via Google Analytics 4 we collect anonymous usage data such as page visits, session duration and device type.

- Improving our website based on anonymous statistics
4. Cookies
Our website uses the following cookies:
- Functional cookies: necessary for the correct functioning of the website.
- Analytical cookies: Google Analytics 4 places cookies to track anonymous website usage. We have enabled IP anonymisation. Google Analytics cookies are not used for advertising purposes.
- Third parties: OpenTable (reservation system) and Elfsight (Instagram feed) may place their own cookies. We refer you to their respective privacy policies for more information.
5. Retention periods
We do not retain your personal data longer than necessary. Reservation data is retained in accordance with the legal retention obligation of a maximum of 7 years. Analytics data is processed anonymously and retained for a maximum of 14 months.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, delete and transfer your personal data. Please contact us at info@heemelrijck.nl. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
